I have selected "Microsoft print to PDF" as default printer.
When I in WeBuilder selects the "Print preview", it prompts me for a location/filename for saving the PDF file.
Nothing is saved and it doesn't matter if I provide a filename or click cancel.
Same happens when I use a "normal printer". Here I can see that "Print preview" contacts the printer.
IMO "Print preview" should NOT contact the printer, as nothing is sent to the printer at this stage.

Bug: "Print preview" contacts printer before output

Re: Bug: "Print preview" contacts printer before output
As far as I can figure out, it connects to printer to obtain DPI info. If that was disabled, it could lead to print preview being inaccurate for some printers.

I haven't experienced it in other programs.
Does DPI really matters? The "Print Preview" is used to get a rough estimate on how the output will be, so the DPI could just be fixed.

Too bad we didn't know about this before the upgrade and before beta testing, then we wouldn't hesitate to change this. I'll try to research the alternative but this won't be the highest priority.
