Re: Print setup

The Print Setup is very basic in WeBuilder compared to my other editors which do alow you to change the headers, footers and margins. I wholeheartedly agree. I am tired of having to change from Rapid PHP to another (cheaper) text editor just so I can print my pages as I want. I use HTML as my ...

Re: Printer options

I've just posted on this topic in the support section of this forum and had NO response (except from myself :? ). Clearly there are only three of us users who need this feature.

Re: Print setup

I had no idea how complex this question was! Clearly I am the only user of these editors who has ever wanted to change the default way they print files. HHmmmmm!

Print setup

Hi! Try as I might, I cannot find a dialog in Rapid PHP to allow me to setup printed pages. By default Rapid PHP prints pages with the current date at the top right hand corner and the page number at the bottom centre. Page margins seem to be fixed. Can anyone advise if there is a print page setup ...

Re: New file types

The trick is to open all the ini files and have a look at how they are compiled... Karlis is right; these files should only be tweaked by people who know how to backtrack if things go wrong and I don't see any advantage in having documentation available for something that can break the software ...

Re: New file types

Karlis,

Thanks again. Do you have any documentation on what can be changed? It does not have to be "professional level" documents.

Re: New file types

Karlis,

Thank you once again. Its quite easy when you know where to look.

RapidPHP is a really good editor/IDE; thanks for the work you put into it.

New file types

Hi! I would like to be able to change the order of file types that appear when you use the "New file" drop down list. In particular I would like "text file" to be the default. In addition there are many file type that I simply will never use so it would be nice to remove them from the list. I have ...

Thanks for your quick reply. I didn't know about the "My Layout" option. I will have a look at this now.

[2010 v10.0.0.116] Need simpler way to do up-grades

I am pleased that your software is under on-going development but I am annoyed that there is not a simpler way to do up-grades. I followed the instructions to backup the "settings" directory but this does not keep menu changes. I like to make quite extensive changes to the original menu but loose ...

Re: I would love a CLOSE icon

I came to this forum specifically to request a CLOSE icon on the toolbar, then noticed this thread. Unless I am missing something, right now I must go to the FILE menu, all the way down to CLOSE/ CLOSE ALL. That is a pain in the neck, since I find myself opening and closing files/tabs 50 times a ...

List problems

I have just tried it again and I get the following: <body> <p> Version 7.3.0.69 </p> <ul> <li>aaaaaa <li>bbbbbb <li>cccccc </ul> <ol> <li>zzzzzz <li>xxxxxx <li>yyyyyy </ol> </body> When I noticed the problem this afternoon I downloaded HTMLPad again, but I already had the latest version. I have also ...

Problem with HTML List button

Hi! I have a minor but irritating problem with the 'List' menu button (the one you need to add from customising that automates lists from lines of content). It works quite Ok but it DOES NOT include closing tags for the <li> elements; you get: <ul> <li>djvnd h oi okjhth <li>fnvn gbgi iogfbdf gdb ...
