Re: Webuilder slow start

> What exactly I have to rename? Renaming the Karlis Blumentals key or the sub-key would do the same thing - it would mean WeBuilder wouldn't be able to find its settings, so as long as you know what you renamed, it should work. That whatIsHang report would suggest its looking on the H drive for a ...

Re: Webuilder slow start

Does WeBuilder try and open the last document? If so, is this on a network location that is no longer available? This usually happens if WeBuilder is trying to find a file or location but is just timing out. Do you know much about the registry? You could try renaming the settings leg in the registry ...

Re: The process is constantly taking up 25-30 percent of the

Which process? The main application?
What OS are you using?
Is this on a new file, or a 'busy' file? (loads of code)

Re: 64 bit version?

64-bit programs have access to more than 2 GB of memory. It is unlikely WeBuilder will need to use more than 2 GB. A 64-bit version wouldn't have a significant benefit. As for the six instances, most of Chromium is split into individual processes - extensions, spell-check, et al. The benefit is if ...

I'll keep it here as it may help someone else.
Glad you got it sorted. Would be interesting to know if you open the original file and it appears again - might be something in the document.

Re: 2020 bug: ES6 "get" and "set" keywords are not highlight

Its not quite a bug though - you're viewing an HTM file, and 'set' and 'get' isn't part of the HTML schema.

Re: Explorer undocked. How to re-dock?

Can you provide a screenshot of the undocked window? Can you not drag it to the side of the application where little 'boxes' will appear. (Image is truncated here - open in a new tab) https://i.imgur.com/xVEBHvk.png Drag the mouse into one of these boxes. (Image is truncated here - open in a new tab ...

Re: Proper method for updating to new build

The update should uninstall the previous version as part of the process - its all handled 'automatically' as part of the MSI install wrapper. Settings are not deleted, so nothing should get lost during the update. However, as with all things, take backups of your settings, etc, (which you should be ...
