Which process? The main application?
What OS are you using?
Is this on a new file, or a 'busy' file? (loads of code)

I had the same issue . the cpu usage is because of the rapid php is busy indexing the project files
to solve this go to
projects > manage projects > edit any project and remove everything from library paths and save.
restart application and cpu usage will be normal.

After mounting the backup image on the laptop, I moved all of the RapidPHP-related files from Program Files and Program Data to the C: disk of the device.
