I've received a spam message here
FYI I received a notification of a posting of a private message from userid "profilicus" containing linkable text "Important to read" which, upon clicking, leads to a Viagra ad. "profilicus" is shown to have joined on April 29. I don't know whether this is common.

Re: MacOS support
the only things for which I would use Windows on the Mac are (1) WeBuilder of course, and (2) IE, so I decided not to go to the expense of (1) virtualization software (such as Parallels) and (2) a copy of Windows

Re: MacOS support
I don''t know how any ONE person can guarantee it, Karlis. You might take a poll, I suppose. PC Magazine and arstechnica.com have suggested a market share somewhat larger than you're thinking (as much as 20%) ...but it's speculation by ANYONE! I, myself, have "cut the cord" from Microsoft and am now ...

Yep, I've already scooted over to a new Macbook Pro
Fine machine, IMHO
Got me running back over to the ol' HP to use WeBuilder frequently...BBedit on the Mac just isn't the same, and I don't really care to buy and run a copy of Windows because, after all, cutting the cord from Microsoft is what I'm trying to do.

Oh, groan, I know I am harping on a sore point, and you are likely VERY tired of hearing it, but... I will strain your patience, one more time! I just today received your announcement of buttonmenumaker. I'm a long-time user of WeBuilder, and would be sorely tempted to fetch a copy of ...

"Back" button on preview bar
I often test multiple files on preview...I test my ENTIRE website, a folder-full, when a common change is made (e.g., a change to a style sheet or some other structural change). It is very nice that the internal browser allows a link to an external page...to be expected, inasmuch as one can have ...

Internal preview: in-site page links, url mapping - can do?
I code my links, between one web page and another on my site, as absolute URLs (...Google sitemap seems to like it this way...) Question is, may I somehow "map" the links to my local folder, for preview purposes, when editing/testing? (If I could, of course, I'd add a "feature request" for a "back ...

...occasionally, that and other odd behaviors in WeBuilder will occur until I carefully shut it down and reload. I carefully reloaded, carefully checked "Display detailed results", and the expected behavior returned (and the box remained checked for future searches). Other examples of behaviors ...

Hmmm...
It wasn't a "regular expressions" search...just a plain ol' search in files with types *.htm in the current folder ...so I guess I will carefully inspect my current Preferences and try to determine where I have "gone wrong"! Thanks!

Is there a manner in which I might test it?
How might I try with, say, Opera, or any other browser (like, say, W3C Amaya) to preview a file using the browser preview tab?

Ability to add another *internal* browser
WeBuilder now allows preview in Firefox or IE without creating an external window. This is handy: allows split-screen diddling of code (either xhtml or css) to see effects quickly and easily. It surely would be helpful to add another browser to the list (notably, Opera; but perhaps, as a general ...

Changed FIND behavior in latest WeBuilder release?
(I didn't save my older copy of WeBuilder but...) If I recall correctly, the behavior has changed slightly from the older release to the new, to wit: Before, in "Find in Files", the Message window showed, in each case, a small snippet of the code line in which the search target was found. Now, all I ...

I voted no thanks...
My CSS is external to my XHTML, so it might be hard for WeBuilder to make a meaningful jump to my code. I'd rather have Karlis and team devote efforts elsewhere...and keep WeBuilder lean and crisp.

Too much to put on one window?
If I need to compare code snippets, I use Winmerge; then with WeBuilder in another window, I can click back and forth easily (using the Windows status bar) and make my editorial changes... I've tried split-screen file comparisons in WeBuilder...and things just got too crowded, too much of an eye ...
