Just another quick piece of information from my machine...

Restore only seems to fail after the window is minimised using the button in the top right hand corner. If the block on the task bar is used to minimise the window, the failure does not occur.

I get this too using RapidPHP2008 in Win XP Pro, SP2. I have just installed Apache and I though it was something to do with that but it doesn't seem to be. If I keep trying to restore the minimised icon, it eventually comes back, but in the mean time I get the thud error noise until it finally ...
