Python syntax coloring would be a good first step to including Python. Also, important would be indent guide lines, since Python uses indents to start/end loops.

OK. I do alot of updating of XML files on the server. It seems that those files, changed on the server, i.e. outside the editor, are sensitized to my next visit via the editor. I went through my various XML files and just clicked on the text. Some went to 'change', others did not..?
I will attempt to find the common factor in the files that do go to change. I'll be back when I have the answer.

I very rarely use split screen for Text Editor/Brower View. However, I do like to have split screen for the text editor. I use this to simultaneously view different parts of the same file.

Can Horizontal/Vertical split be arranged to do this?
