Re: HTMLPad preview not working
No, I haven't found an answer. But I've not needed to insert scripts recently, and anyway I can live with the problem.

HTMLPad preview not working
HTMLpad v.15.5, Win 10. Sometimes preview works OK, sometimes full-screen preview works but vertical-split doesn't. Sometimes the preview doesn't appear, then the app crashes. The crash happens on a page including a form for signing up to mailChimp. <div id="mc_embed_signup"> <form action="https ...

Re: HTMLPad upgrade or RapidCSS?
OK, thanks Karlis. I see that on different pages, they are both described as "lightweight", instead of one being "fully packed", and now I found the feature list, pretty well identical apart from HTMLPad having Javascript. In fact it's cheaper to upgrade HTMLPad rather than buying Rapid CSS, so I'll ...

Re: HTMLPad upgrade or RapidCSS?
Thanks for your reply, Mike. I had looked at the page you refer to, and it doesn't answer my question. Rapid CSS is described as "Lightweight HTML and CSS editor", HTMLPad and Rapid PHP are both "Fully packed HTML, CSS and ...". So does lightweight mean fewer HTML and CSS features than fully packed ...

HTMLPad upgrade or RapidCSS?
I've been using HTMLPad 2011 for a couple of years, for HTML and CSS editing, personal non-commercial projects. I don't do any scripting. Wondering whether to upgrade to the latest HTMLPad or get RapidCSS. Are there any non-script-related features in HTMLPad that are not in RapidCSS? Is there a ...

HTMLPad 2011 still buggy
Well, after a few years away, I upgraded from HTMLPad 2006 to HTMLPad 2011, used it a bit, it has good features, but it crashes regularly. Disappointing. I thought at first it might be because I was using split-screen synchronisation, a useful feature but obviously hard to implement and possibly ...

This is a page that has existed for years, I revise it regularly and the internal preview of HTMLPad has the .css formatting. I guess that that, together with the link visible in the screenshot, shows that bsaa.css is in the same directory. Putting the class names in manually does work, that's what ...

inspector picks up classes from linked style sheet?
My html page has <link> in the header. The .html and .css files are both open in HTMPad.
I type "<span class =" . Inspector is open but it does not pick up the classes from the linked style sheet. Should it do this? It would be extremely helpful if it did.

Inserting <span>
How can I get HTMPad to insert <span>...</span> around selected text? I can't see how to do it. Is a very desirable feature when working with css.
