I've been using jQuery for a while now and I agree: it rocks. Regarding Firebug, see my X-Ray post for my Firebug-like feature request. The only frustrating thing about Firebug is that the dynamic edits one makes to CSS and HTML using it aren't persistent, requiring me to remember what tweaks I've ...

X-Ray
Has anyone seen the x-ray features of WesCiv StyleMaster or Macrabbit CSSEdit? If you haven't, think Firebug, but built into the application. Very, very handy. Are there any plans to integrate such a feature into WeBuilder? Firebug-style inspection and debugging would, in my humble opinion, make ...

There's a nice screencast of jEdit's SuperAbbrevs plugin in action here:
http://we-knowhow.dk/jedit/demo.html
Check it out. This would be so incredibly useful in WeBuilder.

Saving syntax hilighting settings
Hi, Is it possible to save and/or backup customized syntax hilighting settings? I'd like to change the syntax hilighting to suit my preferences, but this will take a long time and I would need to know beforehand that I could backup my settings and take them across to a second computer. Many thanks ...

Bitdaf, I know what you mean. I had a discussion here back in May regarding a feature you've recently asked for but there was no resolution on it. Have a look: http://forums.blumentals.net/viewtopic.php?t=1162 It looks simply like I've been told that the feature is in there and it works and that's ...

The Firebug extension for Firefox also has similar functionality, although you can't edit the code as you would be able to in an editor. It has very nice inspection features, though. It's probably my favourite extension for Firefox now, beating even the mighty Web Developer Toolbar into second place ...

Will, your comments about 'selling points' and Ruby on Rails ties in nicely with some points I've been thinking about, so I'll post them here. I'm not sure the 'big' features really do help sell something like WeBuilder. These sorts of headline grabbing features may sell to the Dreamweaver crowd ...
