This only seems to happen on a certain server I work on, not with local files

Hi, If I go to Special > Editor State Memory and un-check Remember cursor position it works intermittently. If I go clicking around the page, eventually an asterisk will appear on the tab indicating there was a change to the file and I have made no actual change other than cursor position. There is ...

Is there a way to change how Rapid PHP 2011 treats files?
Is it possible to to force Rapid PHP 2011 to treate a .html file as if it were a php file?
I'm using ExpressionEngine 2 which now saves php files with .html extension and the syntax coloring gets borked in Rapid PHP if there is PHP in a .html file.
