Is it possible to to force Rapid PHP 2011 to treate a .html file as if it were a php file?
I'm using ExpressionEngine 2 which now saves php files with .html extension and the syntax coloring gets borked in Rapid PHP if there is PHP in a .html file.
Is there a way to change how Rapid PHP 2011 treats files?

If you're OK with all html files being highlighted as php files, you can go to Options -> Preferences -> Document Types and remove html from HTML extensions and add it to PHP extensions instead.

So this is possible here? Not really sure but what would be the negative effects?
When in doubt, use Brute Force
