Hi everyone,
I am a Coldfusion and PHP developer. I was in the market for a capable web development editor and was planning on getting Dreamweaver; however I just now discovered Rapid PHP 2005 and must say it is an amazing program just as capable as Dreamweaver (well, almost... FTP is not quite there yet).
Anyway, I plan on purchasing this in the near future. One question. I have mapped a local directory to a localhost server directory to preview PHP and Coldfusion pages after running them through my local webserver. However, when using the internal preview, I get these prev4~.cfm files that appear in my File Explorer Project View. Is there anyway I can store these elsewhere so that they don't mix in with my true project files? I have set the program to store the temp files in a designated directory (upon program installation) but it doesn't seem to do this? Anyone know why this is? Or how to work around this? All I want to do is to make these files invisible so they don't clutter my project view. Thanks for your help. And kudos to the developer. Great job!

Thanks for your question.
To change temporary folder for preview files:
1) On the Options menu, click Preferences
2) Select Preview options
3) Change temporaty folder
Currently temporary folder is used only for unsaved files.
You have a good point here and I will try to sort this out as soon as possible. Thanks for pointing at this problem.
