I'm working on a Godaddy hosted site with WB 9.0.0.96.
With FileZilla I can log into the root folder (ftp://ftp.sitename.com) and see the files. FileZilla shows that the root folder for the site is a folder named with the Godaddy login. But when I try to use WB Publish to FTP, the site is connected, but the Godaddy login named folder does not show. Also when I try to set up the Manage Projects / Edit, there is no option to chose the root folder. The Select button is grayed out. I'm stuck with using FileZilla to upload.

Re: Root Folder
To select root folder, you must click the root folder in the folder list and then Select will be enabled.
If you are having problems with this, please send your full login info to our support e-mail and we will inspect the situation and provide you with a solution.

Karlis,
If only it were that easy.
Here is what I see in FileZilla: http://www.copperleafinteriors.com/Filezilla.jpg
And here is what I see in WB: http://www.copperleafinteriors.com/WeBuilder.jpg
Note that the Director in WB is greyed out (not available). And when I go up a directory in WB, no files show, and Directory in WB is still greyed out.
What am I missing?

Re: Root Folder
I have the same problem. (WB 9.0.0.96) In Manage Projects > Project properties > Browse FTP I select and connect to my site and click on the root directory but the OK button stays grayed out. If I select a sub-folder the sub-folder name appears in the directory field and the OK button becomes effective. I click OK and go back to the Project Properties window the FTP field is filled out but is not manually editable. Basically I can't select the root folder for the FTP directory.
Re: Root Folder
Ah ha! I have found the solution. Not super neat but quite OK. In the Browse FTP window double click on the root directory to go up one directory then highlight the html (in my case) directory containing my site files. This puts "html" in the directory form and actives the OK button. Clicking OK reverts to the Project properties window where the FTP directory is correctly displayed as FTP::shepsplace\/var/www/html|
Re: Root Folder
Graham,
When I go up a directory, there are no folders showing, nothing to click on, and the OK button remains grayed out. Again, this appears to be unique to Godaddy hosted sites.
