Setting up the FTP connection

Post by Rixn »

Hi list!
In the File Explorer I've added my project with my connection data but it won't work.
Here's what I've got:

Label: MyProjectName
Host: ftp.rixn.nu
Port: 21
Username: rixn.nu
Password: TheCorrectPW
Anonymus Login: unchecked
Initial Dir: Greyed (How do I write "public_html/PHPtest/" there when it's greyed?)
Remeber Last Directory: Checked

I've worked with Dreamweaver earlier and used theese data and there it worked fine. The difference is the different topic names. Rapid PHP have "Username" instead of "Login". But this should not affect the connection? What seems to be the problem here in Rapid PHP 2005?

Please send your real, correct FTP data (including password) to support@blumentals.net, so I can check this out.

Probably it is a firewall that blocks FTP, but it could also be connected with login info.

The connection is now working fine. I don't know why but it does. I haven't done anything more sinc my forum posting. Maybe I can't have several connections open at the same time from different softwares?
Anyway - it's working now. Thank you for your kind answer though.
Regards
/Lars
