Hi webuilders,
the option "install to an usb stick" is permanently not active. How may I change this?

yes, I did search, but unfortunately i searched for "usb" in stead of "stick". And "USB" does not create a result. May be the three letter word "usb" is to short to perform a correct earch result within the forum?

Did that thread help? I think I searched for the full phrase "install to an usb stick". There were other hits that might have what you're looking for.

FWIW, the "Install to an USB stick" menu item was disabled for me after I exported my settings (using the menu item above the USB one). However, after restarting WeBuilder, the install to USB menu item was reenabled, so I'm not sure if this would help you (I assume you've restarted WeBuilder at some point in your attempt to get this to work).
I wonder if reinstalling the software would help?
Oh, and searching for "USB" in the forum will not work - like many forum searches the forum software has the annoying 'feature' of ignoring (without telling you) search terms less than 4 characters.

Install to USB and Export Settings can be used only once per session. This is due to tech reasons and to avoid corruption of settings / data.
After restarting the program, you can try once more.
