I am using RapdPHP 2006.
I have just moved my sites over to my own server (Centos, virtual hosting through Virtualmin).
I have to make some edits to html in some php files. When I opened the files I noticed that lines of code were missing. Yet if I looked at the files on my PC prior to uploading via FTP they are ok. Also if I download the files to my pc and open with RapidPHP then it is ok. It is only when I try to open the file off my server. Also, if nothing is missing then when I go to save files sometimes it adds characters and blank lines at the beginning or end of the page.
I have never seen this before.
If I open with GoLive then things appear to be ok...it does prompt me however for info about encoding...but I do not really understand this.
Thanks

Re: wierd things happening
There was a bug in version 2006, I'm pretty sure it has been fixed in versions 2007 and 2008. It was actually not a bug in editor, but a misbehavior of many FTP servers which we had to work around.
So to sum up, you are welcome to try Rapid PHP 2008, there is a free trial available.
