Hopefully this is just a configuration problem, I have only had Rapid PHP for less than a week, keeps me smiling though had I known of the existence of webbuilder I would have purchased that product.
I have been working on new CSS for website. At some point I am unable to save the modified css file. I need to save to a new name delete the file and change the name back. this is temporary. Rapid PHP fails soon again. Once the failure occurs, closing and restarting Rhapid PHP does not resolve situation. Only a reboot of Windows XP will temporarily clear the symptom.
I have been using option to save in UNIX format since destination server is a linux box.
Awesome product thus far,
John

- Check the Support section of the corresponding product first. Chances are you will find your answer there;
- Do not create new topics for already reported problems. Add your comments to the existing topics instead;
- Create separate topic for each problem request. Do NOT post a number of non-related problem reports in a single topic;
- Give your topic a meaningful title. Titles such as "A question," "Bug report" and "Help!" provide others no clue what your message is about;
- Include the version number of the software you are using;

Re: Edits to style.css fail to save warns to check for readonly
Hi John
I'm sure if you ask them nicely they will let you cross-grade to WeBuilder for not-much-money (though who knows!). I have no idea what is going on with your files; I assume you are logged in as an administrator? That sort of random file-locking is very rare now. Do any other apps exhibit this problem? If you try doing the same with Notepad, for example, with the same css file, do you get the same thing?
Dave.

No I don't have anything open accept the internal exploder and firefox and an external exploder and firefox. I saw the article about the file locking after FTP and installed unlocker assistant as suggested. This did not initially work unless I "Unblocked All" so there seems to be a workaround at this time.

What application / process did Unlocker say was keeping the file open?
