Highlighted URL links not clickable between tags

Post by Boofo »

When I enable Highlight URLs, the links are not clickable if they are between tags.
Examples:

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/misc.php ... vpmoptions - This works fine

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/misc.php ... vpmoptions
- Does not work when clicking
They both highlight correctly.

Both work for me when I copied & pasted from your post into WeBuilder.

If there is a tab at the beginning of the line with the tags in it, the link is no longer clickable. Take the tab spacing out and the link is clickable again.

This is not intended behavior, I would think.

Ah you're right. As soon as there is a TAB character at the start of a line any URLs don't work when clicked on.

Doesn't have to be be between tags, just type www.google.co.uk on a blank line it will work, put a TAB before it and it no longer works.

The URL will still highlight and the mouse cursor will change to the pointy-hand but clicking does nothing!

Just tested, and putting http:// at the start of the URL makes no difference to this behaviour.

I didn't try to tab before the regular link, just the one wrapped in tags. But, you are right in that it doesn't work for any links with a tab in front of the line. Thank you for confirming that, sir.

Version v9.2.0.100 was released very shortly after 99 due to a CSS fix that Karlis did. Redownload it and you will have it. ;)

Version v9.2.0.100 is released? When I check for a new version I am informed I am using the latest version, which in my Help/About window says 9.2.0.99.

Do I need to download the new version or is 99 the latest? If so, there might be a bug in the version checker.

Dave.

Just re-download the new version and it will be the 100 build. I got the same thing on a new version check.

As far as I'm aware, it doesn't work like that - its a manual 'switch', so that the latest version can be checked, before being released. I'd expect it to go 'live' once .100 is OK.
