Version: WeBuilder 2008 (9.4.0.102)
Hello everyone!
Is there a way to have a split-view file explorer while browsing FTP sites? I love how it's done when browsing local files and folders, but having that layout for FTP browsing would be great. I'm very new to this program, and VERY excited that I may have finally found a replacement for Homesite. The only thing I can see holding me back is this one issue, however minor it is.

Due to the difficulty of implementing an FTP-tree, this is not possible and is not planned for the nearest time. I'm sorry to disappoint you.

That's unfortunate. There are many editors that have accomplished this impossible request, I was just hoping yours was one of them. It's hard to find an editor that has all the basic needs of a full-time web programmer, yours is very close though. By impossible, I mean the algorithm that we can write in a reasonable amount of time would be too complex and big and would very likely slow down the WeBuilder and introduce more bugs to fight with, so we just want to avoid it until all the more important things are done and we have more time for other pleasant extras.
