Smarty Support

Post by AliasXNeo »

For me this is almost a must have. I think there should be a add on to support Smarty files. It doesn't even need syntax recognition, just something to at least recognize Smarty files. I believe this will be a main asset to the program.

just add .tpl to your file types list. if you want them to render has php, add it to the document types list in preferences.

Options>preferences>document types>PHP

not exactly "smarty support" but it should get you most of the way there. This has been requested a number of times before. Please do a search before creating a new thread. :)

Currently you can add smarty support by editing the syntax highlighter scripts (not easy, but possible). Dedicated support could come in the future, but no promises or ready plans yet.
