display number of matches in find in files...
Hey guys, just tried the latest version of web builder....(9.0.0.96)
It's looking great, its nearly there when it comes to replacing homesite for me.
Could you please add a count of the number of matches found when doing "Find in files", this is currently not being displayed in the messages box.
E.g in Homesite at the bottom it will say : "Total Matches : 33"
Thanks and keep up the excellent work!

I am still hopefull that this feature will be implemented!

+ 1 for this. This for me is the only thing I sometimes go back to homesite for.
The problem with the current webbuilder is that you can search for something and it can look like nothings happening. I've then closed the search thinking its timed out or something. On homesite you actually see the files it is searching through so you know you've set it up correct.

With next major version the number of total matches will be displayed if you use "Find In Files".
We have decided not to add this option for regular "Find" as we did not see much benefit for this.

great - will it have any real time indication of which files are being searched through? Or maybe a running total so that we can tell its searching?
Or will it just give the total amount of matches after it has finished searching?

For now it will show the result only after the search has been done.

For me I would ideally like it to show the results including the files as it goes. That way, if I'm searching through lots of files for something I don't have to wait for it to finish searching if it finds it in the first few results.
That would be ideal, but wouldn't stop me buying an upgrade if it wasn't implemented. However, the reason I'd still use Homesite for searching would be that if there is no indication that the search is running it can look like the application has crashed. Maybe there is a halfway solution that just gives a running total but not a list of files.
I don't want to sound like I'm moaning as I'm really happy with WeBuilder!

I've also requested a progress indicator in my 14 Ultimate Feature Requests, but number of matches is also important.
