Documentation for WeBuilder Internals...

Post by ajmaske »

How about some documentation for some of the internals for WeBuilder? This way "WE" can help produce some stuff that can later be included with the WeBuilder install or perhaps made available on the Blumentals site... Things that I'm talking about are like this posting http://forums.blumentals.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2374, I also use Smarty and have gone through the steps of associating .tpl file extensions and so forth; preview is a no go though because of the smarty directives (ie... {include file="..."} or {if x=x}{/if}...

Karlis, you mentioned in that topic that we can add
support by editing the syntax highlighter scripts (not easy, but possible)
... where would one begin? I've search through the WeBuilder folders but couldn't find anything that stood out. With a little documentation, I think "WE" the community could put some of this stuff together...

Thanks,

Anthony
(looking forward to WeBuilder 2010!)

Hello Anthony,
We are planning to add some documentation about Custom Highlighting soon the the knowledge base in our web site.
There is also a post that might give you some hints to get started now.
Kind regards,
Gatis Avots
