For professional development is very useful and convenient to have ability to reach out remote server by terminal access (as it is realized in Phped for the instance)

Nothing, as a matter of fact i use PUTTY. But I try that feature in PHPED and find it very useful and convenient.. I very often need do some jobs on remote server side (running scrits with cli, managing databases, some scheduling... ). Of course i understand that majority is limited by upload and download operations via ftp or sftp. But there is no need to write ssh client from scratch it will be enough to integrate existing one in ide.
