I am using WeBuilder 2008 build 9.52 on Windows XP Pro running Apache Server.
I have an HTML page with a SUBMIT button going to a PHP page. I want to validate fields for entry. in the ONCLICK=, if I type the word "return" and the name of the javascript routine it does not execute the Javascript function and always goes to the PHP page. If I just specify the name of the javascript function without the word "return" it will execute the Javascript function but always goes to the PHP page even when I return false intending control to remain on the HTML page so the user can correct the errors.
submit button always goes to php page

Re: submit button always goes to php page
So this is running through the Apache server, or the WeBuilder internal web server?
Doesn't sound like its WeBuilder thats got / causing the problems, as it doesn't actually run any of the code you're entering.

can you verify the same thing is/isn't happening when you load the page in a browser?
