Extend "Select Content" command

Post by x3po »

When pressing the shortcut for the "Select Content" command, it would be cool, if the whole content inside the element would be marked. Right now the it stops when another element is between the selected element.

Maybe it would be a cool idea, if by clicking the shortcut once, it's the same behaviour as before, but - when clicking that shortcut another time, the whole part bewteen the selected content gets marked!

I have this behaviour in my filemanager (Speedcommander), when clicking F2 on a filename(test.jpg) once i have marked only "test", when clicking another time, only the extension (jpg) is marked. By clicking F2 the third time, the whole filename is marked.

Something like that would be super cool to mark some code very fast!

if it takes 8mb of regular expressions to achieve that, feature requests aren't the problem. ;)
