Lost settings in Rapid PHP 2010

Post by Schlumpf »

Hi,

I had upgraded to Rapid PHP 2010 and then realized that Rapid PHP 2008 still existed on my PC. (I had assumed that 2010 would replace 2008)

Well, it was not really a problem for me. I just used 2010 and ignored 2008. Some days ago I decided eventually to deinstall 2008 because I did not see any reason keeping it.

The problem is: Deinstalling 2008 deleted all personal settings which I thought they were already transferred to 2010 (because 2010 was working fine).

Is there any possibility for retreiving these settings or do I have to set up anew?

Thanks in advance.

I think, only the projects disappeared...

I have already set them up anew.

Hello,
I am afraid some of your settings are lost and can not be recovered.
Here is a procedure for everybody else who have both - the old and the new version on their computer, and want to remove the old version:

We are to blame. The setup should have been better. We will be working to improve this.
