Changed: Ctrl+Y now acts as Redo (duplicates Shift+Ctrl+Z)
Is there a way to disable that? I got used to ctrl+y for the "delete line"-command, and i really love that shortcut!
i already searched in the keyboard.ini-file to reset that command, but haven't found it there, also not in the shortcuts menu.
Karlis, any chances of getting my old shortcut back?

This is a serious issue for me, as my old shortcut was a one-hand-shortcut, now with ctrl+shift+L to be a new-hand-shortcut!!!

Regards.

At the present moment there is no way for you to use Ctrl+Y in current version, it was Homesite-only shortcut (used in few other ides), while the industry standard is Ctrl+L and we have to stick to what most people use. Although I agree that it would be nice to customize this shortcut, at the present moment it is not *yet* possible, we will register your report as a suggestion for future improvement. Immediate solution, however, would be to go back to previous version, it can be downloaded here:
http://download.blumentals.net/webuild1002.exe

I can not tell if and when we would let you customize this particular shortcut, but if there will be a lot of demand from many users, it will be seriously considered. We can, obviously, make this customizable by adding a few kilobytes of weight and memory use if this is an epic issue for significant number of users. But our strategy is to avoid minimizing the weight added by implementing features that few people would benefit from. Please discuss this here.

change it to ctrl+shift+D?

if you primarily use the keyboard, two handed shortcuts aren't a big deal once you get used to them. If your right hand is on the mouse a lot it can be a pain.

Oh, oh, oh... I bought and installed the 2010 version today, since I wanted to IMPROVE my 2007 version... But using CTRL-Shift-L to delete a line is an illness. When you do strange things like that, please provide a possibility to change it in the shortcuts menu. CTRL-Shift-L... Thats totally annoying me...

You can use simply Ctrl+L (without Shift), it is a one-hand shortcut with the right Ctrl. By the way Shift+Ctrl+L is also a one-hand shortcut with the right Ctrl.

Bringing Ctrl + Y back would be a terrible mistake. I have deleted a line while trying to redo too many times. I agree that shortcut customization would be the only way to satisfy everyone.

In version 2014 you will be able to set Ctrl + Y as delete line.
