In the "html format" toolbar I was just wondering if there is anyway to get a "div" button there with the other buttons?

Just wondering the same thing myself. <div> is, arguably, the most used (overused?) tag and it should have it's own nice clicky button.

I agree and just because of its popularity above all for replacing tables, it would be nice a little bar to create DIV layouts like for tables...

If you open the Language Browser you'll find all the html tags ready to use.
Also You can add your own snippets to the library.
