I'm running RapidPHP 2010. But this happens on 2008 as well.
Ok. I've been using RapidPHP for a long time. Great! No probs. I mostly open files from my FTP site and save to the FTP site.
Friday, all was well. Monday morning I come in and something is wrong. Here's what happens on both the 2010 and 2008 versions.
Read from the FTP site: Perfect
Edit files: Perfect
Save to the FTP site: File is saved but then get Read Timeout.
When saving, It connects, progress bar works. But something goes wrong after the save. for the most part the save to the FTP site works, the file is saved. However, the progress windows stays up for 10 additional seconds, then a tiny problem window pops up:
Title: Rapid PHP 2010
Content: Could not complete the transfer. FTP Error: Read Timeout
Button: [Ok]
Must be something changed on my dedicated host??

If you could send us your FTP access data to our support e-mail, we may try to take a look. I do recall similar problem reports, but surely this does not happen with most FTP servers and I haven't had a chance to get my hands on an FTP account that exposes this problem.

Thanx for your reply. Here is the answer if someone experiences the same symptoms: Slow internet connection!
My office DSL line went from 420Kbps upload speed to 10Kbps upload speed one day for no apparent reason. Apparently the RapidPHP desktop software was reacting to the slow upload speed by throwing the error window. After I rebooted my Linksys router, the speed went back to 420Kbps and the RapidPHP error went away!
