RapidPHP Port to Mac

Post by cornishman »

I run multiple machines at home, mainly dev, including Window$/Linux/Solaris but I do all my work on a Mac OS X G5.
Currently I run RapidPHP under Parallels Desk, but would seriously love to see it ported for me to run natively on my Mac
So, my request is:
Can RapidPHP be ported to Mac OSX

Hi,

I am afraid, we have not changed our plans - HTMLPad, Rapid CSS, Rapid PHP and WeBuilder support only Windows OS for now.
Kind regards,

My suggestion, working perfectly for me for last 10 months:

* get http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads for OS X
* get TinyXP from the Internet or buy a license for Win XP

My host OS is Ubuntu 10.04 x86 and guest OS WinXP / using Notepad++, Subversion, FAR manager and RapidPHP2010 without major troubles.

Everything else is hosted on Linux, XP file is just a 4 GB VDI image. Feel free to contact me for more information: filip@mxd.cz

I use Parallels on my Mac, so yes, I am able to satisfactorily use RapdPHP, but I still feel it's overkill.
