Drop Shadow on a single button gif ???

I want to achieve Drop Shadow on a single button gif.

I read the post where it says to make a frame and delete it?

I could not find this and I could not find any settings to make the states of the button transparent.

Please enlighten me as to the steps.

I would also like to have all sub-submenus have their own color. Is that posible?

Hi! Drop shadow effect is posisble for menus only. For buttons it would not work.

Tech details on why:
It would be close to impossible implement quality drop shadow on buttons that would work with all web because GIF, JPG and 8-bit PNG images do not support alpha-transparency.
