HMTL Pad: Restore colors to default scheme?

Post by midipixel »

Hello everyone. I've messed up my color scheme. I've set up some colors for the html language, just to find out that there's no easy way to apply the same colors to the CSS language. Is there a way I can reset everything back to the default scheme? I think HTML Pad really should have a color scheme engine, like Notepad++ or PSPad... I didn't get the custom highlighter scripts, since you don't directly apply colors to them.

Anyway, is there a way to go back to the default scheme, or do I have to reinstall the program?

Thanks in advance for your attention!

Hi,

Try this:
1) Close HTML Pad
1) Open Windows Registry;
2) go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Karlis Blumentals\HTMLPad\7.0\Parsers\
3) Delete the Parsers you have messed up;
4) Close registry;
5) Open HTML Pad
Kind regards,

Thanks a lot, Gatis! It did the trick.

I hope the color engine improves on the next versions of HTML Pad.
