WeBuilder won't close

I have had a problem that just appeared lately:

I try to close WeBuilder either by:

1. Clicking on the X at the top right of the screen

or

2. Clicking on the top left File, Exit

and the program will not close.

But if I close the HTML file(s) I have open, it will close.

I've isolated the cause, too:

I open an HTML file, view it with the Vertical Split, and then have the file checked (internally) with the CSE HTML Validator Pro (Professional version 10) and then WeBuilder becomes unresponsive to either method of closing.

I am not quite sure what the issue is but here is what I would do.

• 1.uninstall WB
  (if you are using a registered WB have your registration key handy)
  2.use a program like CCleaner, a freeware
  
  3. defrag your system; best to do a boot-defrag as it will also defrag your registry and pageful;
  (I would do this regularly as NTFS is very fragmentary at best of times
  4. re-install WB

I am not sure if this helps you but it is worth a try, in any case you cant go wrong.
