Just installed Beta 3, and when it launched it didn't have my customized colour syntax from 2010, Beta 1 did.
Not only that, but just gone back into 2010, and it too has reverted back to the default syntax colours.

Re: Update: 2011 v11.2.0.122 Beta3 (limited access)
I've done a system restore to yesterday, before the Beta 3 install, and 2010 has now got my colours back, so happy now.

When I got my copy of build3, I simply installed it into another directory rather than copying over.MikeyB wrote:Just installed Beta 3, and when it launched it didn't have my customized colour syntax from 2010, Beta 1 did.

'lo and behold' the setting were carried over to the new installation. I didn't have to change a thing in the settings.

As did I with both beta 1 & beta 3.mapleleaf wrote:When I got my copy of build3, I simply installed it into another directory rather than copying over.

It worked fine when I installed beta 1, but beta 3 just messed all settings up in both 2010 & the beta.
Just noticed that the beta has completely lost all syntax colouring, everyting is just black text. In preferences there are no colours to change:

It's also now crashing a lot, guess due to corrupted settings somewhere, gonna remove & try again.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just removed the beta using control panel -> Add/Remove programs, and now 2010 has lost ALL it's settings again.
When I launched 2010 it went through the setting questions when you first install it.
Looks like 2010 & 2011 beta must be using the same location for settings, oh dear!
Edit, not quite all settings, my layouts are still there, just seems to be everything in options -> preferences including syntax colours.
Think I'll leave the beta alone for now...
