Can't Edit Browser Configuration Parameters

Post by jswaringen »

I'm currently running WeBuilder 2011, and I noticed I can't edit the "parameters" in the "Add Tool" when I try to edit a browser. I use a command line of:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe -P "Debug" -no-remote %File Name%
To run a special profile in Firefox that is setup for debugging. Is there anyway to make that dialog editable?

Hi John

Have you tried putting the entire path and commands into the path field of the browser add dialogue? I'm not sure that would work, but might be worth a try. In Windows the additional browser settings are stored in the registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Karlis Blumentals\WeBuilder\7.0\Tools\Browsers. You could try adding the command switches to the path there as well just to see if it invokes the right FF profile.

Just a thought

Dave,

Thanks, but it's not helping. I keep getting a message "file not found" with of course the path, profile etc. Sure would be nice to have this working....
