Ctrl + n --> Transitional doctype?

Post by FrankC »

Hi,

First of all, I think WeBuilder has a good chance of becoming The Ultimate Code Editor! It would need some improvements to beat the competition, but they do not seem difficult.

My question for now is if I can change it so that when I press Ctrl + n I get an XHTML 1.0 Transitional doctype file. I now get an XHTML 1.0 Strict, but I don't like Strict. I know I can open one from the templates folder, but if it is possible to get that under the Ctrl + n 'button', I would like to know how to do that.

I am using v. 11.01.

Hey,

go to

Options > Preferences > General

then choose another default template in "New document"-section.

Regards.

You can also create your own template and have all new pages based on that, simply create one and save it then go to the same place in the options as x3po suggests and browse to select it there. You can also set up any keyboard shortcut under Options, Keyboard Shortcuts to do all those other tasks you might want your own custom shortcuts for.

I like this program because it is so configurable and customisable, which means everyone can have it set up just the way they like.

Cheers
