How to get the CSS reference panel back?

Post by FrankC »

Hi,

At one point, a couple of days ago, I had a CSS reference panel on the right-hand side that told me which CSS properties are supported by which IE version. I've been searching high and low and pushing every button, including a reset to the full layout, but can't get that panel back. I'm not talking about the Inspector or the Help reference file. It really was a panel.

[Edit: I found it. It was the Inspector after all, I just have to put the caret inside the style block for the Inspector to switch to the CSS reference mode. Great feature, by the way! :D ]

You can also grab the individual 'tabs' within panels (if that's how they are at the moment rather than stand-alone panels) and move them to another panel. Grabbing the title bar moves the whole group of tabs while grabbing the tab itself moves just that panel. I have six 'tabs' in two panels on the left side of my screen, split horizontally so each panel takes up half the screen. I found this way the best as it leaves all the rest of the screen for coding and previewing.

All these features are so well thought out, it makes all the difference when using the editor for hours at a time.

Cheers

That is cool, too! I will certainly try that out!
