Just to post a final follow-up to this thread - upgrading to WeBuilder 11.0.0.126 a couple weeks ago the "disappearing cursor" problem has not happened since.
Many thanks to Karlis and everyone who supports WeBuilder / Blumentals products for your patience and advice.
I've been creating web pages the "old-fashioned" way (meaning NON-WYSIWYG) for about 15 years now and of the many many editors I've used over the years not only do I feel that HTMLPad and WeBuilder are the "best in class" editors I've ever used, but also Blumentals customer support is TOP-NOTCH! I've been using Blumentals products for several years now and will continue to recommend them to every webmaster I know for a long time to come.

I agree totally with your assessment of the editor; I've tried them all and found none better for my needs.
However, the disappearing cursor problem still occurs in WeBuilder 11 .126 on my machine when previewing using the Mozilla control. When using IE for preview, switching back to the coding window also switches focus back to it, that is, the cursor is flashing where I left it and the mouse wheel scrolls the page as usual. When using the Mozilla control however, switching back to the code window results in the cursor disappearing as well as the page focus, so one has to click anywhere inside the window before regaining any type of control. Certainly not a big deal, though it is a bug; the problem being that it may or may not be able to be fixed, like all bugs in software that depend on or are related to third-party controls.

davenz - one thing maybe we did differently - before my upgrade i fully un-installed / re-installed the Moz ActiveX (I had an old version and Karlis linked to a newer one). Although I did encounter trouble with the install of Moz ActiveX Control I one machine I chose the "ignore" option and forced the install.
just throwing that out there in case you hadn't tried fully un-installing / re-booting / re-installing a fresh version of the activex control.
I'm going to stay subscribed to this thread since obviously I was wrong about the upgrade fixing the problem and I hope it can somehow be solved for everyone.

Unfortunately cursor still disappears in Mozilla Firefox Preview.

I'm having what I believe to be the same problem in my most recent upgrade of RapidPHP2010. When I go back into preview mode, the cursor disappears. If I click the position I want and edit, the editor works properly but there simply is no cursor.
In my case I am only using IE. I have not Mozilla ActiveX control. However, I do have ActiveX disabled in IE. Is this the problem?

Has anyone solved the problem of the disappearing cursor? I am using Webuilder 2010 10.2.0.121 and it only seems to have been in the last few months that this problem has emerged. Switching to different browsers and changing the refresh rate has not made any difference. After a period the cursor simply disappears while editing. Switching to preview and back to code editor restores the cursor.
