Windows Live Messenger Doesn't Work Regularly

I use this software to block web surfing in my company but however i need MSN Messenger for communication. I am adding already "msnmsgr.exe" to Allowed Programs but it doesnt work. When I'm trying to enter Messenger it gives error and doesnt let me log in. Sometimes after Messenger error, im pressing try again button and after that it works. But mostly doesnt. Maybe there is something about Configurations, I dont know. Can anyone help me about it ?

Please try Auto Detect feature in Settings window, Allowed Programs tab. It could be that MSN messenger communicates through some other service which needs to be allowed, too.

I did but it doesnt chane anything. when try again to connect msn messenger it happends again.

Did the messenger connect normally without problems during the Auto Detection?

messenger works when auto detect is on. protector gives ip numbers and I am adding them to allowed ip numbers section. But when i enable protection it happends again.

That's strange but I don't think I can help you right now. I'll write down this problem and take a careful look at it once we work on the next iNet Protector update.

That's interesting. I think they are blocking through destination IP addresses not by the program itself.

I will suggest you to update your messenger to the latest version and please tell me if still problem persists

I fixed that problem with inet protector old version (3.53) now works fine.
