Rapid PHP 2011 possible bug in Remember cursor position?

Post by icamadmin »

Hi,

If I go to Special > Editor State Memory and un-check Remember cursor position it works intermittently. If I go clicking around the page, eventually an asterisk will appear on the tab indicating there was a change to the file and I have made no actual change other than cursor position. There is not a set number of times to click to reproduce, but I would say it happens within 10 usually. I love this editor so much, it is a minor nit to pick, but I'm hoping for a workaround, fix or maybe a bug to get stomped in a future release. I tend to click around highlighting variables and so forth a lot while I work.

My platform: Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64bit

Thank you.

This is interesting... I can't reproduce this problem though. Does it happen with every file or are there any extra conditions?

This only seems to happen on a certain server I work on, not with local files

Check if the problem persists in version 2014 beta (currently only WeBuilder 2014 is available, Rapid PHP 2014 beta may come later). If so, we will try to investigate. Version 2011 is currently no longer developed.
