RSS not working

Within the Visuals --> RSS News tab I have added the following RSS feed http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/tech
However, the screensaver never shows any RSS content. I see an informational tip at the bottom of the dialog box saying, "RSS works with picture screensavers only".
What does that mean exactly?
How do I get it to work?

This feed seems to work fine.

RSS feed items are displayed directly on pictures, so you won't be able to see them in video or Flash. With picture screensavers you will most likely start seeing the RSS news with the 2nd picture, not the 1st one, because it takes a little time to download and process RSS feed.

You could send us the project file (Save As -> complete project -> .zip) via http://www.blumentals.net/support/wizard.php and we'll take a look and see what's wrong and let you know how to fix it.

Thank-you for the clarification.
I had only one picture so this is why the RSS feed was never rendered.

Is it possible to not only jump to a web page upon exit but append the current RSS article as a parameter?

Unfortunately there isn't such feature.

Thanks for the confirmation but is there a work around in approaching this or perhaps using a third part application?
