Hi.
I couldn't find this on the forum so I start this topic.
I am now testing this beta version and I'm seriously thinking in switching to this awesome software (I have been using editplus for ten years) but I have this need: I only work online! When I try to create a new project I have to fill in the Root Folder but using the "FTP::domain.com" at this point don't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug or this is not the way the system should work?
Thanks in advance.

Re: WeBuilder 2014 Beta3: Can I manage a project online?
You have 2 options:
1) Don't use projects, open files directly from FTP (View -> File Explorer -> FTP tab), edit and save them.
2) Create projects locally that mirror your online files, edit them and then use Project -> Publish Project to FTP after you've finished editing. Use Project Properties -> Publishing Settings to specify project's FTP settings.
Both ways have their advantages. Editing directly on FTP is quick and easy but editing locally allows testing changes locally before uploading, to make sure there are no errors, because uploading erroneous files to production server can be unpleasant.

Hello Aivars and thank you for your reply.
So I guess the way to go is to edit locally and Publish to test, whether I test it first or not.
Anyway, thank you again for your reply and for your excellent software.
This way I will not be able to use all the beautiful features your software offers (auto ceompletion, todos etc)Aivars wrote: 1) Don't use projects, open files directly from FTP (View -> File Explorer -> FTP tab), edit and save them.
This cannot be done since my production server is equipped with software that cannot be easily (ffmpeg, imagemagik, tcpdf to name a few) installed locally.Aivars wrote: 2) Create projects locally that mirror your online files, edit them and then use Project -> Publish Project to FTP after you've finished editing.
