Webuilder takes 30 seconds to start

Hi,

I am new to WeBuilder, I switched from HTMLPad 2011 some days ago to WeBuilder.

The programm is great, everything works fine, but it takes around half a minute before WeBuilder starts.

I am running Windows 7 SP1 and WeBuilder 12.0.0.148, I didn´t had this problem with HTMLPad 2011. I first installed WeBuilder paralell to HTMLPad and later deinstalled both (including removing my settings) and reinstalled WeBuilder, withouth success.

A few versions why that might be happening:

1) Terrible anti-virus software. Some of them check some of the files for obscene amounts of time, delaying the startup.
2) Slow shell extension, blocking File Explorer. Try switching WeBuilder to layout without File Explorer, restart and see if the problem persists.
3) Some problem with the project. Try creating a new, fresh project, switch to it and try restarting.

Thanks, it is point 2, the file explorer. If I start WeBuilder withouth the file explorer (e.g. with layout "notepad"), everything is fine, the start goes within two seconds. If I open the file-explorer in WeBuilder, it takes ages before it opens.

Any idea how to handle this? My system is pretty fast, I do not had any similar problems with other SW and also not with HTMLPad 2011?

Problem solved, I updated two other programs and the problem is gone, WeBuilder starts with file explorer as it should be
