Hi,
I just bought the upgrade package. It wants to install itself in a different folder than WB 2011, in Program Files\WeBuilder 2014 in stead of \WeBuilder 2011. But will it then import/copy all my settings, customizations and tweaks?
Upgrade installation in different folder?

Yes, all your settings that can be imported will be imported automatically.

Re: Upgrade installation in different folder?
OK, I just installed it, and WB14 took over some things of WB11, like the Library. But not the pane, panel, menu and toolbar customizations. Those are very important to me, and took quite a while and quite a lot of figuring out how to. Can I copy those settings manually from the 11 to the 14 folder?
Plus this question: if I now add something to the Library in WB11, will that show up in 14 as well? Or are those separate files after installation?

Menu layouts and toolbar customizations are not compatible, that's why those were not and can't be copied.
I think the library is shared, however if you use Unicode characters in your snippets, WB2011 might mess them up.

Only two of the very many Library items were messed up, so that was hardly a problem. And the customization of the toolbars, etc. took only some 15 minutes.
