Post by jozefk »

I am constantly getting this error message while trying to save the file through FTP:

Windows 8, 64bit and the latest version of Rapid PHP 2014:

Is this another bug?

Just a quick one here. have you verified connectivity like a "ping test" to see if the ftp server is reachable?

It was working fine. From time to time this error happens, then few days ago I was not able to connect anymore. With FTP client it does work. And with another text editor as well. Maybe my ISP is the problem I don't know. But this was too much annoying so I switched to another text editor.

There could be 2 possible reasons for this:
- Something (like firewall) is actively blocking the connection
- FTP server (or firewall) doesn't support active mode so you need to switch to passive in FTP connection settings or vice versa (right click ftp connection -> Edit FTP Site -> check or uncheck "Passive Mode").
