Using WB2014, code explorer works great, but when editing an html file (.tpl) with smarty syntax the explorer goes blank. Is the explorer not able to parse html if it contains smarty or is there a way to tell WB that .tpl is actually html? Doesn't seem to matter if the "Auto Switch Language" is checked or not.

Try opening Options -> Preferences -> Document Types and remove tpl from Smarty and add it to HTML.
