transparent background not working on windows 8

Hello....
I tested the swf file screensaver with transparent background on Windows 8 64bit, its completely fine while previewing but while setting it up as a actual screensaver on windows 8 , it does not display the desktop as background, instead... it displays solid color (metro theme background color). is there any resolution to this issue..?

You are right and we were not aware of this issue. It could be possible that Windows 8 is giving screensavers a special virtual desktop which indeed looks like the Metro theme color and not giving permission to access user's desktop (similarly to Metro applications). We will need to look into it and see what if anything can be done about it.
