FTP Syntax Error

FTP Syntax Error

I cannot get the FTP Directory box in Project Properties/Publishing Settings to return the correct path syntax. I get "FTP::sitename\public_html/|" instead of "FTP::sitename\/public_html/|". This causes ”FTP Error: No such file or directory". (public_html obviously exists.)

Strangely, I have other projects which reside in sub-directories under public_html and these return the correct syntax, i.e. "FTP::sitename\/public_html/subdirectory/projectname/|"

I've tried all sorts, link to a sub-directory then revert to the root, recreate the project in it's entirety, delete and re-upload the files again. I'm at a loss. If only I could edit the FTP Directory box and insert one lousy forward slash. :(

Any ideas?

Well, I've found a solution of sorts and share it here for general interest.

In the folder "...User\AppData\Roaming\Blumentals\WeBuilder\settings\" is a projects.ini file and I was able to add the missing forward slash there.

If you can provide us with an empty test account for the FTP server that has this problem, we might be able to find and fix the bug. Please contact me privately or via support form.
