I have always used Notepad++ for all my development needs, but recently the company I work for required we move to RapidPHP.
In all honesty, I love Rapid PHP, but I have a simple problem. We use FlashFXP (FTP Software) to work on all our code hosted online. With Notepad++, when I select my file in FlashFXP and edit it, it opens in a tab in Notepad++, for each file I open to edit, it opens a new tab in a single instance of Notepad++, which makes it easy for me to do multiple changes to multiple linked PHP files at once and then Save All. All changed files are detected by FlashFXP and synced online.
With Rapid PHP, for each file I open in FlashFXP, it opens a new instance of Rapid PHP. Is there a way to stop this, so that each opened PHP file will open in the same instance of Rapid PHP in a new tab?

Re: Block multiple instances Rapid PHP 2014
Rapid PHP should block multiple instances by default, so there's some kind of issue here... The one reason I can think of that could cause this is if there's active instance of Delphi running. Do you happen to use Delphi for development?
