Animated preview window

I am making an multiple avi screensaver using Screensaver Factory 6.6. I'm trying to make an animated preview window under the preview image tab in attributes ,but it just shows a black screen on the tab after I select the file and the same thing on display properties when the screensaver is running. If I use an animated gif, it will display correctly on the tab, but is not animated on the display properties, it just shows the first frame of the gif animation. The rest of the screensaver works fine. Any suggestions?

It's by design, the preview image supports static images only in Screensaver Factory.
